Game time is 7:05 on CSN and ESPN.
Here's a couple of teams falling right the hell out of the wild card race. Oakland has been killing everything and Texas got in their way recently. We got in the way of, well, the Devil Rays.
Benoit is making just his second start of the year, his 13th appearance overall. That is an unlucky number. However, Benoit has been dominant in relief this year. In relief, he has posted a 0.69 ERA. That jumped to 2.32 overall with his first start in his last time out, a loss to the Yankees where he went five innings with six hits and six earned runs. Still, he struck out six (six!) and walked just one.
For the season, he's sporting a 3-to-1 K-to-BB ratio, a 0.87 WHIP, and a .147 BAA.
Cabrera has given up just five earned runs in his last four starts, though he was erratic against Minnesota last time he took the hill. At home this season, he's 5-4, 3.39/1.26.
