Pontoon Boat was brilliant his last outing, one-and-a third pitched and allowing just six earned runs on six hits and two walks. In his career against the Red Sox, he is 3-9 (100.2 IP) with a 6.26 ERA and 1.63 WHIP, along with a .315 BAA. Spectacular!
But there's good news! For starters, Sidney is almost mediocre at home this year at 4.70/1.48/.304, compared to his atrocious road line of 7.33/.195/.359. Also, the last time Arroyo started against the O's was on May 30, and we took him down but good, bashing him for 10 hits and seven earned in 2.2 IP. He also pitched relief on June 1, going 1.1 scoreless.
A win tonight brings us within two of the Red Sox.
