wetnap had a good idea in the diaries, and one I've been considering for a while anyway. I've opened a fantasy football league at Yahoo - it has an 18-team limit, 8-team playoffs (weeks 14, 15, 16), head-to-head scoring. The draft will be live on September 3 at 2:45 PM eastern.

The only reason I'm doing this is so I can be sure that the regulars that want in get their spots, but if you're not a regular you'll probably get yours too if you're interested, so don't worry. All you'll need to sign up is a Yahoo ID, and I'm pretty sure 80% of the world has one by now.
I only have one "rule", really: Don't join if you know you're going to be flaky and stop paying attention to your team three weeks in. It's just a pet peeve of mine when someone is bogarting players someone might want to trade for or giving away wins because they have five guys on a bye in their lineup one week.
I know for certain there will be a baseball league next spring for those interested, and if you guys want to do hockey and basketball, I'm up for those too. It'll be a fun way for us to make this even more of a community site. I want to thank wetnap for pretty much nudging me into finally setting a league up.
