Chen has thrown very well his last two starts against the Rangers and Devil Rays. Blanton, like most of the A's pitchers, has been hot lately. The most telling thing about him, I think, is his 1.25 WHIP. That's a really solid number for a 24-year old in his first big league season.
I expect a bit of a pitcher's duel tonight, which is no stretch with the way both teams are hitting.
