Chen has been back to his early season form lately with quality starts in each of his last three outings after a couple of bullpen appearances at a time when we needed him. Those of you who have commended Chen doing what was needed are right on. I love Bruce Chen.
Sabathia is the type of opposing pitcher I like but I'm not crazy about. For a guy with his stuff, his strikeout rate is really low, and he's been hit around pretty well this season. For Cleveland to have a shot at the wild card, it's very possible they'll need Sabathia to start pitching like their ace. Inconsistency is the biggest reason the Indians aren't in the lead position in that race, and Sabathia is a part of that.
We need this win to avoid a sweep. I'm still hoping the O's can get 83-85 wins. It'll just look pretty for once.
