Cabrera is on the 15-day DL retroactive to August 17 because of his sore back, and Chris Ray has been recalled from Bowie.
So with this and the Baldwin move, it's settled for now. Bedard, Chen, Lopez, DuBose and Maine are the starters; Baldwin's the long reliever; Grimsley, Kline and Julio are the stinkbombs; Ray and Byrdak won't make me want to leave the room when they come out of the bullpen; and Ryan and The Todd are our late-innings guys.
Frankly we could really stand to release Grimsley. We cut Reed for being an old guy whose sinker didn't work anymore, what's the difference?
