You know what, win one game against a team that looks flat, I'm not that impressed. Drop 10 the next day, even on the Rangers, and it makes you think. This team needed a change. Two wins is nothing to get crazy over, but Perlozzo having the sand to sit regulars to rest them, instead of running them out there endlessly trying not to lose, is something nice to see. I think I already like Perlozzo more than I did Mazzilli, who absolutely ran this team ragged.
Yeah, it was the Rangers starting a pitcher that has no business being in a major league rotation. But after what seemed like an eternity of the Orioles failing to execute in any way, this is a breath of fresh air.
