Clement was 10-3, 3.82 at the All-Star break. Not so good since then. He swooned down the stretch with the Cubs last year, too. His last two starts have been rough - 6 IP, 6 ER against Toronto on September 13, and 1.1 IP, 7 ER against Oakland on the 18th.
Bedard has not won since August 9, when he beat the D-Rays. He's 0-3 since then over eight starts.
Boston is fighting for their lives right now and the O's, well - the O's just don't belong on the field with either the Red Sox or Yankees right now, as the last five games have gone a long way to prove.
Yanks beat the hell out of Toronto yesterday and are still a game up in the AL East.
