Community Projection Results: Patterson, Tejada, Mora

COREY PATTERSON

My line: .251/.302/.413, 18 HR, 16 SB, 6 CS, 32 BB, 113 K

The community line (my projection included):

AVG OBP SLG HR SB/CS BB/K
.261 .299 .432 18 19/6 34/119

I think that's quite reasonable. We're expecting something of a rebound but still not quite a productive hitter. High-end Patterson is higher than that, but high-end seems very wishful.

MELVIN MORA

My line (lower than most): .281/.355/.467, 24 HR, 95 RBI, 64 BB

The community line:

AVG OBP SLG HR RBI BB
.301 .369 .489 25 89 60

Again, reasonable, basically a step up from 2005, so people seem to be expecting the late season surge Mora more than the rest of the season Mora, and since he was battling injury problems for part of the year, that's not a wild guess.

MIGUEL TEJADA

My line: .309/.358/.522, 41 2B, 30 HR, 110 RBI

The community line:

AVG OBP SLG 2B HR RBI
.308 .355 .524 44 31 120

Basically the same as the line I'm predicting when totalled up. Tejada may have ruffled some feathers, but clearly we expect nothing less than great contributions from him.
