Dan Wetzel says neither of these teams has a chance against Detroit. Maybe he's right, but his summary of last year's World Series having Chicago embarrassing the Astros in dominant fashion is only slightly out of whack. I don't know if he remembers the game scores or not, but they were 5-3, 7-6, 7-5 (14 innings), and 1-0. I've said it before, I'll say it again: That's the best four-game sweep I'll ever see.
But anyway, this series has been pretty lame, and the NL does stink, and both of these teams are lacking depth and pitching, and they probably won't be able to beat Detroit, a team that has both, but you know, why be a jerk? Am I right? Sure, it's not Dan Wetzel's fault that these teams are both average at best right now or that the National League is a disgrace, but come on!
Yeah, I don't care either.
