Fat Matt LeCroy signed a minor league deal with the Expos, another great fit for that park, and have upped their offer to Sammy Sosa to a non-guaranteed, incentive-laden major league deal. They had previously offered him a minor league deal with an invite to spring training. LeCroy's deal is for a year and $850K. No further details on what they've offered Sosa really.
The Reds have hired Wayne Krivsky their new general manager, after an earlier report had said they were set to finish a deal with Jim Beattie. Poor Jim Beattie is just plain down on his luck with the job searches this offseason.
