Jake Westbrook, RH Rodrigo Lopez, RH (2-1, 3.66) (1-1, 5.66)
Game time is 7:05 on CSN and ESPN2.
Sometimes you just lose 15-1. It happens.
Westbrook had good starts against the White Sox and Twins to start the year, then had a rough one against the Tigers on April 14, giving up five earned in six innings and taking the loss. Westbrook has been a pretty reliable starter the last few years, going 14-9 with a 3.38 ERA in 2004 and 15-15 with a 4.49 ERA last season. He's not great, but he generally won't kill his team.
Lopez has yet to find his stride, but he did look better against the Angels on the 14th, giving up four earned in eight innings and striking out six, allowing just six hits. I'm still not the biggest fan, but let's see a nice start to help the team rebound from yesterday.
