Erik Bedard, LH Jamie Moyer, LH (5-2, 4.18) (1-4, 3.72)
Game time is 10:05 on FSN Northwest. Don't know if there's Baltimore TV.
You know, Jamie Moyer is 43 years old, and he's still pitching reasonably well. He's still a Safeco wonder, though, with a 3.20/1.12 line at home and 4.82/1.77 on the road. He beat the O's at Camden Yards on April 30, though.
Bedard was sharp last time out, handling the Red Sox with relative ease (7 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 3 K), but before that he'd had a couple bad starts, and his WHIP (1.53) is really bothering me. I'm not near the same level with it as I am with Chen and Lopez or even Cabrera, but I'm losing patience with Bedard. I'm losing patience with all the pitching. It's not even just this year, it's the whole last nine freaking years.
I do love west coast games, but then I keep odd hours.
