This is Jered Weaver's major league debut, so that's something. He's 23 and had a 4-1 record and 1.89 ERA at Salt Lake before his callup. He can't be much worse than his brother's been this season.
Gibby hurt his right shoulder yesterday so we'll see what happens with that. Bedard has been up and down this season, kind of -- mostly down since his first four starts were over. He gave up eight earned in five innings against the Mariners last week.
