Ricky Nolasco, RH Erik Bedard, LH (5-3, 3.06) (6-6, 5.60)
OK, so it wasn't much of a hoot. Dan Uggla did homer in his first AB, so at least I was right about Dan Uggla.
Ricky Nolasco has had a nice year. He was a fourth round pick by the Cubs in 2001 out of high school. He's pitched in 17 games this season, six of them starts. His last three starts have all been good.
Erik Bedard is the pitcher that tries to stop Florida's nine-game winning streak. I don't see him doing it, but I don't wanna root against him, so I just won't say anything other than, "Go get 'em, Erik!"
