Oh, Red Sox. You are not very good. Boston was just swept by Kansas freakin' City and Jonathan Papelbon has blown two straight save opportunities (raising his ERA to a staggering 0.94 in the process). Manny Ramirez has a 25-game hitting streak going and David Ortiz hits a lot of home runs, but I'm about as scared of the Red Sox right now as I am of the Devil Rays. Then again, outside of the spoiler role, our games don't mean a lot, so why would I be scared of any team? There's one to chew on. A real head-scratcher.
David Wells is a crotchety old lardass and Adam Loewen is coming off his best major league start.
