O's HOF induction on Saturday for HOILES and DeCinces

From the official Orioles press release:

Doug DeCinces, who replaced one of baseball's most legendary players and hit the home run that started "Orioles Magic" in the 1970s, and Chris Hoiles, who spent his entire nine-year career with the Orioles and caught more games in club history than all but one person, have been elected to the Orioles Hall of Fame. A special induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26 before the Orioles-Devil Rays game. The ceremony is expected to begin around 4:00 p.m. In addition to DeCinces and Hoiles, former trainers Ralph Salvon and Eddie Weidner will posthumously receive Herb Armstrong Awards for contributions by non-uniformed personnel.

So, hey, you know, that could be a lot of fun. Chris Hoiles better damn well get a standing ovation.
