It's official: Joe Torre will manage the Los Angeles Dodgers

Just got broken on SportsCenter. It's up on ESPN.com, too. It's a three-year deal for $13 million.

Good luck to Joe Torre, as far as I'm concerned. Good dude who has had to put up with a lot of bunk since the '01 Series.

I'm interested to see how this affects where A-Rod could go (it could have some effect) and what else could happen. Johan Santana could be a Dodger. Miguel Tejada could be a Dodger. Don Mattingly will likely join his staff -- God, Donnie Baseball in anything other than pinstripes. It's like when I see Alan Trammell as a Cub.
