Cards blank O's, 4-0

The Orioles finally lost another game. You can't win 'em all. Adam Wainwright got the win for St. Louis, going 4 2/3 and scattering five hits with a walk and no strikeouts. Adam Loewen took the loss, but didn't look bad in the process: 2 IP, 1 ER, 4 K, 1 BB. Brian Burres gave up three runs in three innings, one earned.

Brian Roberts was 2-for-2, and we also got hits from Markakis, Payton, Donachie and House, M.D.

Ryan Ludwick had two hits for the Cardinals.

In other spring games, Sammy Sosa went 2-for-3 with a walk for the Rangers in an 11-9 win over the Cubs yesterday, and Barry Bonds hit his first home run of the spring. Bonds has the flu.

Duaner Sanchez has been dismissed from camp by the Mets, and is expected to meet with Willie Randolph and Omar Minaya soon. The reliever has been late to practices and other such functions repeatedly this spring, as he rehabs his shoulder. Duaner has such talent, but his attitude just keeps getting in the way.
