Gameday Thread: Blue Jays at O's, 04/20

Well, this could be a fun game. Burnett and Cabrera both throw smoke and it's always tough to gauge which one of them you'll actually get. Both teams are also 8-7, a half-game behind New York for second place, and a game-and-a-half behind first-place Boston.

Patterson will be back in the starting lineup tonight. No offense to Boob Boom, but thank God. Jay Payton is expected to finally make his regular season O's debut sometime this series. I am less enthused about this.

Old dog/new Blue Jay Frank Thomas is hitting just .204/.328/.352 with two home runs through his first 15 games with Toronto and is currently in a 4-for-31 slump dating back to April 10.

BJ Ryan, Troy Glaus, Reed Johnson, Brandon League and John Thomson are all on the DL. It's a good time to strike and take a few from the Jays.

Today is the day that all the Dope Heads run around acting like only they have ever heard of this "marijuana." Sorry, kids, but it's the way of the world. Don't do drugs. Stay in school.
