Shields has been really good so far for the D-Rays.
You know what was nice yesterday? The Orioles facing a crap pitcher and beating the hell out of him. Also nice was Markakis going yard and Gibbons managing three hits in one game, rather than three hits in 37 at-bats. Gibby is still utterly worthless right now, and I still just don't like him, and I still never will, but if he wants to get three hits, then super duper.
Erik B looked good in his last start, but I don't want to overdo optimism. Brother drives me crazy.
Maybe Jeremy Guthrie should just start. Sure he only threw 67 pitches, but he went six strong innings and threw 46 strikes. Some of our other pitchers could stand to learn from that: Strikes are your friend!
