Bedard's hammy acts up

Erik Bedard was taken out after six innings today because his hamstring got all tight on him, but it probably isn't much to worry about since Bedard isn't really making an issue of it. When an injury doesn't get Bedard to talk about Bedard's Injury, then it's probably nothing.

My favorite quote about it, though, from Dave Trembley: "I did not take Bedard out of the game because of any significant strategy."

Thanks for explaining, Dave, because you have to realize it's easy for us to wonder why any pitcher ever comes out of a game. We've seen rolling pitchers pulled and guys getting shelled left in all year.
