ESPN's Buster Olney is on Mike & Mike in the Morning, and has just said that the Orioles and Joe Girardi "have agreed to agree but don't have an agreement," but that chances are good that something will be announced by the end of the day, making Joe Girardi the 18th manager in Baltimore Orioles history, the third this season, the fifth this decade, the fourth since 2005, the sixth since Davey Johnson, and the 11th since Earl Weaver was last seen in 1986.
Joe freakin' Girardi. Let the fun begin.
But, really, what can I do? He's here, it's his ship to guide. Good luck, Joe. You'll need it.
In other news, former Oriole Sammy Sosa hit his 600th home run last night, and we're about 20 minutes away from Mike Greenberg milking a cow.
