WHAZZAHHHHHHHHH

Jeff Francis, LH Steve Trachsel, RH (5-4, 3.70) (4-4, 3.89)
Francis is really good, another lefty Canadian. He's been unstoppable since his May 7 start against St. Louis, a no-decision where he went seven innings and allowed two earned. Look at his starts since:
5/12 SF -- 8 IP, 2 ER
5/18 KC -- 7.1 IP, 1 ER
5/23 ARI -- 7 IP, 0 ER
5/28 STL -- 7.2 IP, 2 ER
6/2 CIN -- 7 IP, 1 ER
He had a rough start to the year, but that's becoming a distant memory. He lost four of his first five decisions, but has won his last four.
What do you say about Steve Trachsel? He's had a few really bad starts (including that last mess in Anaheim), but overall the guy has been reliable. His BB-to-K is getting disastrous and is going to slap him in the head at some point, but for now, I'll take the solid results. You can't get by walking twice as many as you strike out, though. He has 137.2 innings against Colorado in his career with decent numbers.
Neither of these teams are as bad as they could be, at least in terms of record. I assume Rockies fans are having at least an OK time this season, but we're not.
