Nice job last night, Burres.

Don't get all excited, the Rangers are playing pretty good ball right now. They've won 10 of their last 15 and haven't lost any of their last six series.

Kameron Loe is pitching well of late. He's a 6'7", 240-pound righty out of Cal State Northridge, and is working on a four-game winning streak. Loe started the year in the bullpen, then moved into the rotation with less than exciting results, posting an overall 7.40 ERA through June 7. But since then, he's been good against the Pirates, Cubs, Tigers and Red Sox, with a quality start every time out, lowering his ERA almost two full runs.

Meanwhile, poor Jeremy Guthrie has started 12 games, with quality starts in ten of them, and one of the two that wasn't was blown in the eighth inning on a Mike Napoli solo homer. Jeremy Guthrie has a posse, but none of them are members of the Orioles lineup.

Thank God for the Devil Rays remembering who they are and losing 11 straight.
