The Dodgers completed a three game sweep of the Cardinals last night to advance to the ALCS. Camden Chat favorite George Sherrill appeared in all three games, pitching 2.1 innings and earning 1 win. Now the Dodgers will sit tight until the NLCS starts on Thursday.

Angels @ Red Sox - 12:07 PM (Angels lead 2-0)
The Angels hope to complete a sweep of their own and are sending Scott Kazmir to get the job done. Kazmir made six starts for the Angels after being traded and was outstanding for them. He also has a good history against the Red Sox, with a career 3.59 ERA against them in 23 starts. He faced them twice in 2009 while with the Rays, allowing a total of 4 runs and 13 hits and earning two wins. The Angels have to feel pretty good about their chances. The Red Sox will counter with Clay Buchholz. He improved quite a bit this year but his last two starts of the year were disasters. If the Red Sox can't get their bats going the Angels will finally be able to beat them in the postseason.

Yankees @ Twins - 7:07 PM (Yankees lead 2-0)
Carl Pavano is starting for the Twins. I don't think Carl Pavano will pitch well enough to shut down the Yankees, but it would be sort of a hoot if he did. And I certainly had no idea what I was talking about when it came to Vicente Padilla so what do I know. The Twins are dead in the water, but it'd be nice for their fans if they could see a win.

Phillies @ Rockies - 10:07 PM (Series tied 1-1)
The Phillies and Rockies are a day behind schedule thanks to the snow. J.A. Happ makes the start for the Phillies and Jason Hammel takes the mound for the Rockies. This is the series I care about least of all of them. I don't even care one bit who wins.
