Game time is 7:05.
Today marks the Major League debut of 25-year old Jason Berken, a Green Bay native and Clemson alum who comes up with a 1.05 ERA in five starts at Norfolk (and 5.63 in two starts at Bowie) this season. Last year at Bowie he was 12-4 with a 3.58 ERA.
He'll be opposed by the returning Ricky Romero for the Jays, who was 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA before hitting the DL. The Jays' current seven-game losing streak has stuck the Red Sox and Yankees back at 1-2 in the AL East, so it's nice to get things back to the status quo, huh?
