It's Sunday, it's Wieters Day +2 and it's a chance for the Orioles to get series win and close out a homestand at 6-1.
Jason Berken makes his second start, and while he threw OK in his first while picking up a win in his debut, it was overshadowed by the unexpected announcement of The Deity's callup. Tuesday was a wet, cold, nasty night, and Jason Berken made it a little better for Orioles fans. Let's see how he improves on 77 degrees and sunny. I hope his pitching matches the weather.
The Orioles will face Edwin Jackson, who's been sneaky good this year. His record is pedstrian (4-3), and it's more evidence why W-L record is almost meaningless. He's sporting a 2.58 ERA over 66.1 IP in 10 starts. His WHIP is 1.12. Ladies and gentlemen, Edwin Jackson is pretty damn good this season.
That said, Let's Go O's!
