GameThread: O's (49-72) @ White Sox (62-59)

The O's and White Sox meet for the third and final time this season with the season series tied at 3-3. Jeremy Guthrie will attempt to recreate the magic he had in his last start in Chicago when he pitched 8 innings allowing just two runs (both on solo HR, because that's how Jeremy rolls). Local boy Gavin Floyd, who's putting together his second consecutive strong year, goes for the White Sox.

The Sox are in the playoff hunt, just 2.5 games behind Detroit. If the White Sox were in the American League East with that record they'd be in 4th place and about 14 games out. They also wouldn't have that record, although they do have a winning record against the AL East this year at 13-12, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about (except I do).
