Ok so today is the most barren Orioles news day I've seen in forever. It's barren all around baseball, actually. When the Astros avoiding arbitration with Tim Byrdak makes the front page of Yahoo's MLB page you know it's a slow day. Here are the few scraps I could find:

Hicks agrees to sell Rangers to Nolan Ryan group
Tom Hicks has agreed to sell the Texas Rangers to a group that includes Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan. The sides announced Saturday night that they had finally reached an agreement, eight days after a 30-day exclusive negotiating window expired. The group is headed by Pittsburgh sports attorney Chuck Greenberg.

Ruiz agrees to three-year deal with Phils | MLB.com: News
The Phillies agreed Sunday on a three-year, $8.85 million contract with catcher Carlos Ruiz, a source with knowledge of the negotiations told MLB.com.

Dodgers to Make Historical Trip to Taiwan this March | MLB.com: Official Info
The Dodgers will travel to Taiwan and play two games against a team from the Chinese Professional Baseball League on March 13 and 14.
