I know that wins and losses don't matter in Spring Training but I would really like to see a win tonight. I mean, you know. Winning is more fun than losing, even when it's not necessarily the goal of a spring training game.
Brad Bergesen makes his spring debut tonight, finally fully recovered from his unfortunate commercial filming mishap. He'll be on the first start schedule of 2 innings/30 pitches and I'm happy to see him. With the uncertainty around Brian Bob and Reimold it's nice to have him healthy and ready to go. Bergy's opponent on the mound for the Pirates will be Zach Duke (again).
Tonight's game is being broadcast on MLB Network and MLB.tv. I've been in a fight with Comcast since Sunday because MLB Network isn't showing up as authorized on my TV. I keep talking to them, they keep telling me that they've fixed it, and it keeps not being there. I guess I'll give it one more go and hopefully I'll have figured it out by the time the game starts.
