The thing about the four games the Orioles have played to start the season is that they have all been exciting. Mostly with a bad result for the O's, but exciting nonetheless. I want none of that tonight. Tonight I want a beat down. I don't want it to be close or exciting. I want the Orioles to whoop the Jays, plain and simple. We're due for that, don't you think? We deserve it.

Dana Eveland is the pitcher that the Orioles will have to conquer to complete said whooping. Doesn't seem like it'll be too hard. This cat's name is Dana for crying out loud. Plus he kinda stinks.

Pitching for the Orioles is one David "Home Run" Hernandez. You think Guthrie was bad with the HR last year? At least it took him 200 innings to give up his 35 HR. Hernandez allowed 27 HR in just 101. But maybe this year will be different. He did pitch great in Spring Training, after all (that's just for you, Andrew @TLC).

Sadly I won't be able to join y'all in the game thread tonight or tomorrow. Game threads are really one of my favorite things but I feel like I've barely been able to enjoy them yet this year. Oh well, there's plenty of time for that.

Let's Go O's!
