The Orioles are a bunch of jerks. You know why? For the second time in as many series they are making me say this: The O's need a win to today to avoid the sweep. Jerks!
Kevin Millwood makes his Camden Yards debut today. Are you excited? Hopefully he'll mentor the Blue Jays to their first loss since Opening Day, because I can't take a sweep by the Blue Jays in the first week of the season. It would just be too pathetic for words.
Sean Marcum gets the start for the BJs and will hopefully be the recipient of the beatdown I so desperately wanted yesterday. In his first start, Marcum no-hit the Rangers until the 7th inning. Not too shabby. He ultimately gave up a 3 RBI home run ('sup, Gary Thorne?) and the Blue Jays lost the game 5-4.
Today is the 2nd Annual MASN Blogger day at Camden Yards and I'll be in attendance with duck, 2632, and a number of other fine writers from around the blogO'sphere. I'm not sure of the full list, but I do know that Camden Crazies, Baltimore Sports and Life, Baltimore Sports Report, The Wayward Oriole, and Orioles Card O the Day will be represented. I'll be sure to give a full account upon my return, but in the meantime you can read about last year's event here (ignore that picture at the bottom because I look just awful).
Let's Go O's!
