GameThread: Red Sox (11-11) @ Orioles (4-18)

So what's everyone doing tonight? I'm meeting a friend for some dinner and shopping in Columbia. Not my favorite town necessarily but it has two things that I require: 1) DSW and 2) a lack of Red Sox fans roaming the streets.

Lineups. Do you think it'll kick the O's offense into gear if I use all of their awesome nicknames? Should we give it a try? Is it possible that Miguel Tejada has never had a nickname? And obviously I have nothing to say about Garrett Atkins. You guys have heard that Cesar Izturis' AB music is Hypnotize, right? It's so weird. Anyway, when he's coming up to bat sometimes I sing to myself, "Izzy, Izzy, Izzy, can't you see," but then I always stop and can't think of anything witty to add to the end of it. I also sometimes sing the same song for Wiggy (I originally had the other nickname I use for Ty Wigginton in the lineup, but there are two ways to look at that name, one of which insults women and the other of which insults Wiggy. So I decided to abstain).
