After last night's exciting win, the Orioles send Brad Bergesen out for the start tonight against Daisuke Matsuzaka. There is no way to predict what might happen in this game. After getting lit up to start the season, Bergesen was sent to Norfolk where he only made one start (which was good, but not great) and now he's back. Will he have figured anything out? And on the Red Sox side, Matsuzaka is making his first start of the year after beginning the season on the disabled list. He's been all over the place since joining the Red Sox but one consistent is that he always walks a lot of guys. Hopefully the Orioles will take that into account.

Since the use of nicknames in the lineup did in fact kick the team into a higher gear, I'm going to do it again. In fact, the only player I didn't give a nickname to is the one who grounded into a 1-2-3 double play with the bases loaded and zero outs. Coincidence? Yes, probably, He's not very good. But luckily he's not in the lineup tonight so not only do we not have to see him, I don't have to think up a not mean nickname for him.

I'll leave you with this thought: the O's may still be just 5-18, but they have won three out of their last five, all against the Yankees or Red Sox.

Let's Go O's!
