GameThread: Orioles (13-29) @ Nationals (21-21), 7:05 PM

Good news, O's fans. You know who we get to listen to all weekend long? That's right, Rob Dibble! It's the combined broadcasting booth starring Rob Dibble and Jim Palmer. It will be epic.

Five days after being scratched with a sore shoulder, David Hernandez is back in action. Because it really would have killed the Orioles playoff chances to make sure this guy was 100% better before running him out there again. He'll be facing Scott Olsen who has been money for the Nationals this year. After giving up 4 runs in 5.2 IP and 6 runs in 2 IP in his first two starts of the year, Olsen has pitched 32.1 innings over his last 5 starts allowing 4 earned runs on 27 hits. That's a 1.11 ERA over those starts, where he's also struck out 25 and walked only 7.

Matt Wieters is out of the game tonight with a bruised knee he got in his second AB yesterday in Texas. The Tater Tot will be starting in his place so watch out, Nats! If it was this time last year I'd tell y'all Merry Christmas, but given the performance of the team and how it has worn down my shiny optimism, instead I'll just sincerely wish Matt Wieters a happy 24th birthday.
