Tonight's game between the O's and Twins is rained out -- DH tomorrow

Per Brittany Ghiroli at Britt's Bird Watch, tonight's game has been postponed due to rain. They'll play a day-night double header tomorrow, with the first game scheduled for 1:10 p.m. EDT and the second at 8:10 p.m. EDT. Kevin Millwood and Jeremy Guthrie will make the starts.

Since you were no doubt planning on coming straight home from work tonight and watching the Orioles, I've taken the liberty of perusing the local listings for a suitable replacement:

  • The ION channel is running a mini-marathon of Ghost Whisperer. Summary: Melinda and Eli help a ghost as he tries to settle a matter with a mysterious woman (Hillary Duff) who may be connected to another man's death. Jennifer Love Hewitt AND Hillary Duff. Think about it.
  • Beetlejuice is on ABC Family. I love when he makes them sing the Banana Boat song at their dinner party.
  • If sports are more your thing, ESPN2 is showing the Women's US Open for bowling.
  • Late Addition! Stephen Strasburg is making his first AAA start tonight and MASN is airing it at 10:30 p.m. (on tape delay). If I'm home I definitely might check that one out. For serious. If I'm not too busy watching the Ghost Whisperer.

Or...maybe you could spend your Friday night out in the gorgeous weather. That's probably a better idea. The Maryland Film Festival is going on, as is Flowermart. Or you could always take a trip down to Nationals Park and see the Nats face off against the Marlins. I'm certain that good tickets are still available.

Lots o' baseball tomorrow, though.
