Brian Roberts returns to the Orioles tonight, playing for the first time since the home opener on 9 April. I know that most of you are at least a little worried that Brian isn't fully ready to go. I know how you feel. Given the setbacks he faced and the fact that it appears he rushed to be ready for Opening Day, it's hard not to. But you know what? I have to have faith in something. Something has to go right for us. I'm choosing to believe that thing is Brian Roberts. Healthy Brian Roberts means that we'll hardly ever have to see B2B on the field. It means we'll never have to see Ty Wigginton at 2B again (love you, Ty, but you're no middle infielder). And it means that maybe someone will actually be on base when Nick Markakis (he of the 32 doubles and 31 RBI) comes up to bat.

So now Luke Scott is back, Felix Pie is back, and Brian Roberts is back. Matt Wieters is eligible for return on Sunday. These are players I can root for.
