Bell leaves game with leg cramps | orioles.com: News
"I'm fine," [Josh] Bell said after the game. "Just the way I was positioned in the box, I couldn't really turn on it, so as soon as I swung, I fell and it just cramped all the way up." You know, when Joe Angel made the joke about that being God's way of telling Josh not to swing so hard, he may have been right. -duck

Orioles Insider: The silver lining on Matusz
"[Brian] Matusz has made eight of his 17 starts against either the Boston Red Sox (three times), the New York Yankees (three) or the Tampa Bay Rays (twice) and in those games, he has a 2.90 ERA and has allowed 41 hits in 49 2/3 innings." Those are some good numbers. Think I'll take a small step away from the ledge now. -duck

Less is more with singing of pre-game national anthem - baltimoresun.com
"According to Monica Barlow, the Orioles' crack director of public relations, the team asks aspiring performers to send in a CD or MP3 audio file of their rendition of the anthem....And here's the best part: The Orioles tell the singers to keep it to 90 seconds." Kevin Cowherd's not right much, be he's right here. The National Anthem should never break 1:10. -duck
