"The Orioles have agreed to terms with Glynn Davis, an 18-year-old shortstop from Catonsville Community College near Baltimore. The Orioles feel they got a hidden gem, a player that went not scouted by most of baseball this year at Catonsville. They gave him a bonus that was the equivalent to what some top ten round picks got in this past draft." And one of y'all can explain to me how the O's did this without going through the draft process.
