Shorebirds win 9-1
The Shorebirds scored nine runs on just seven hits and Kenny Moreland pitched a seven inning two-hitter. The final two innings were pitched by a kid named Will Startup. Considering he was born in 1984, drafted in 2005, and is still in A ball, I'm going to guess he never makes the majors. But I sure hope he does because that's the most awesome name ever.

Ironbirds lose 9-6
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers survived a 4 run eighth inning rally by the IronBirds to win. Every Ironbird had at least one hit and 1B David Anderson had a home run and two walks. Starting pitcher Tyler Sexton had a bad day.
