First, my apologies for not getting this up earlier today. I got distracted by a day off of work and the festivities that go along with that.
2011 will be the fifth season that Jeremy Guthrie spends with the Orioles and outside of a sub-par 2009 he has been above average every one of those years. Guts has two more seasons with the Orioles before he becomes a free agent and will probably be the subject of trade rumors this summer provided the Orioles aren't contending.
Here are Guthrie's stats for the past three years:
Year | Age | G | IP | HR | BB | SO | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
2008 | 29 | 3.63 | 30 | 190.2 | 24 | 58 | 120 | 1.227 |
2009 | 30 | 5.04 | 33 | 200.0 | 35 | 60 | 110 | 1.420 |
2010 | 31 | 3.83 | 32 | 209.1 | 25 | 50 | 119 | 1.161 |
In the form below the jump, please give your projections for Jeremy Guthrie's games, innings pitched, earned run average, home runs, walks, strikeouts, and WHIP (walks plus hits per inning pitched).
And if you haven't already, you can offer your projections for Matt Wieters here.
