Orioles Insider: Simon held in custody while awaiting ballistic tests
Alfredo Simon reported to authorities yesterday while his legal teams works on his defense and the DR police begin ballistics testing on the handgun he surrendered to police. Seems there are witnesses alleging Simon wasn't the only one to fire a gun that night.

The Orioles official will try and find out what's what and "take appropriate action."

Whether it's three months or one year, it seems Alfredo Simon will be sitting in a jail in the DR for a while if their legal officials get their way.

Orioles Insider: Gregg will make a decision within two or three days
Kevin Gregg will make his decision on his 2011 destination within a few days. Wonder if he will announce it via a 30-minute ESPN special or if a simple e-mailed press release will do.

So, if, for any reason, you were to have a problem with any component of MASN coverage of the Orioles, like, for instance, any of their bloggers who's displayed less than professional behavior and writing, well, this is the guy to contact. Just sayin'.
