We've got a full docket today as all eight playoff teams are playing.
Arizona Diamondbacks @ Milwaukee Brewers - 2:00 PM (TBS)
Is there are more forgotten about playoff team than the Arizona Diamondbacks? Maybe it's just that east-coast bias, but I've barely heard anything about them this season. Ian Kennedy and his improbable 2.88 ERA in the regular season faces Yovani Gallardo of the Brewers.
Former Orioles: David Hernandez of the Diamondbacks, Jerry Hairston for the Brewers.
St. Louis Cardinals @ Philadelphia Phillies - 5:00 PM (TBS)
Kyle Lohse, who isn't a bad pitcher, faces Roy Halladay, who is awesome. Last year Roy Halladay was pitching a very good game in the playoffs, and I decided to go get some dinner. When I got back, he'd thrown a no hitter. Oops. Does that make me a bad baseball fan?
Former Orioles: Arthur Rhodes & Corey Patterson for the Cardinals. Wait, Corey Patterson is in the playoffs? Did he make their postseason roster? That's just wrong.
Tampa Bay Rays @ Texas Rangers - 7:00 PM (TNT)
After whooping the Rangers 9-0 yesterday, the Rays send James Shields to try and take at 2-0 lead in the series today. Derek Holland starts for the Rangers.
Detroit Tigers @ New York Yankees - 8:37 PM (TBS)
This game will start in the second inning with the score tied 1-1. Both CC Sabathia and Justin Verlander are out, replaced by Ivan Nova and Doug Fister. Fister! That's another awesome name for the Tigers.
