Congratulations to duck for winning week eight of CC Pick 'Em! Well, actually he tied with me, so we both won. Duck and I made the same exact picks this week, right down to the MNF score. It was our pick of Pittsburgh over New England that led us to victory. High School Larry is still in first place, but Astronaut Mike Dexter and I are just two points behind in second place.
The Mobbies are back! Since the Mobbies have come into existence, we have never failed to win the Orioles category, and last year we won Best Overall Blog. You can vote once per day, so please vote for CC as Best Orioles Blog and Best Overall Blog. We're also nominated as Best Sports Blog, but I figure that should be left for a site that covers multiple sports. We're currently in first place for O's blogs and fourth place in Overall Blog.
In case you weren't hanging around last night, don't forget to scroll down and see the stories on Matt Wieters winning the Fielding Bible Award and the three Orioles that have been selected as Gold Glove finalists.

Remember yesterday when we were all excited? Peter Schmuck writes: "The only thing that seems clear is that the team does not feel a particularly strong sense of urgency to get the front office put together before the opening of the free agent market on Thursday."
