These are the last two sets of projections for the starting rotation, so next week look for a summary post.

2011 will be Brad Bergesen's third season in the big leagues and he's certainly had his ups and downs. How will he do this year? Will he look like the Bergy of the last two months of 2010, or will he look like, as Will Carroll said, a fifth starter that makes you long for four man rotations? Here are his stats for the last three seasons:

Year Age Tm Lg ERA G IP HR BB SO WHIP
2009 23 BAL AL 3.43 19 123.1 11 32 65 1.281
2010 24 BAL AL 4.98 30 170.0 26 51 81 1.435
2 Seasons 4.33 49 293.1 37 83 146 1.370

Year Age Tm Lg Lev ERA G IP HR BB SO WHIP
2008 22 Frederick CARL A+ 2.08 4 17.1 2 6 15 1.212
2008 22 Bowie EL AA 3.22 24 148.0 11 27 72 1.149
2009 23 Norfolk IL AAA 2.45 2 11.0 0 3 9 0.818
2010 24 Norfolk IL AAA 4.30 3 14.2 2 3 10 1.364
7 Seasons 3.75 96 504.2 34 92 323 1.227

Justin Duchscherer is even more delicate a flower than Koji Uehara, so will he even make a start this season? He's already experienced hip discomfort in Spring Training although current reports are optimistic. Here are his stats for the last three years:

Year Age Tm Lg ERA G GS IP BB SO WHIP
2007 29 OAK AL 4.96 17 0 16.1 8 13 1.592
2008 30 OAK AL 2.54 22 22 141.2 34 95 0.995
2010 32 OAK AL 2.89 5 5 28.0 12 18 1.357
8 Seasons 3.13 224 32 454.2 121 347 1.137
