Orioles pitcher Alfredo Simon was officially released on bail Friday by an appeals court in the Dominican Republic. Simon's lawyer, Carlos Olivares, told CNN that the 29-year-old Simon is still facing an involuntary homicide charge, but he is free to travel to the United States. It's unknown what the next step will be for Simon, who is currently on the Orioles' restricted list.
