Aberdeen lost to State College 5-4 in 10. Trent Howard went 5 innings, giving up 2 earned runs on 4 hits and a walk, striking out 3 and posting a GB/FB of 6/3. Ryan Berry went 2 scoreless innings giving up 1 hit. 21 year old Devin Jones, the 9th round pick in the 2011 draft, went 2 innings, giving up 1 earned run on 3 hits and a walk. Glynn Davis went 1-5 with a double. Mychal Givens went 2-2 with 2 walks. Joe Velleggia went 0-5 with 2 strikeouts. Wynston Sawyer went 3-4. Connor Narron went 1-4. Dudley Leonora went 1-4. Last night I indicated that Trent Howard "went 5 innings, giving up 1 earned on 3 hits and a walk, striking out 3 and posting a GB/FB of 7/2" when in reality that was Tyler Wilson and not Trent Howard. All I can say is I do like a strong whiskey to numb the pain. I do regret the error, of course.
