I'd imagine the NY Penn League is quite a jump from the GCL, and there is a part of me that wishes the Orioles still had an affiliate in the Appalachian League. I suppose the organization didn't really think they'd have any prospects, so why bother? Anywho, Rodriguez didn't get shelled and he definitely will be an interesting guy to track next year. 9th rounder Devin Jones went 2 scoreless innings, striking out 3, walking 1. Glynn Davis went 3-5 with a K. Mychal Givens went 3-4 with a CS. Joe Velleggia went 1-4. Wynston Sawyer went 1-2 with a double and 2 walks. Neither Connor Narron nor Dudley Leonora played tonight.
The GCL and DSL Orioles are done for the season.
