Nate McLouth officially re-signs with the Orioles: the conference call

No, I don't know why the Orioles are having a conference call to announce the re-signing of Nate McLouth. Slow news month. McLouth, Buck Showalter and Dan Duquette are supposed to be on the conference call.

At this very moment, I am listening to the serene sounds of a solo flute over a piano on hold music for the call. So, I'll let you know if anyone says anything interesting - which they probably won't. But hey, you never know.

If nothing else, we can look forward to finding out whether Dan Duquette will refer to McLouth as a "qualified major leaguer".
